Meet the Directors
Co-founder and Director: CeCe Prudhomme has been the director of the award winning Stratford Playhouse at Stratford Highschool for the past 26 years. She has been awarded the Tommy Tune’s Award for Best Director six times, and Best Musical five times. CeCe has also been named the Texas Educator Association’s Teacher of the Year and was Stratford High School’s- School Bell Award recipient for the 2018-2019 school year. She was inducted into the Thespian Hall of Fame in 2015.
Co-founder and Director: Yvonne Guidry is an early childhood educator, and has been producing and directing youth theater for the past 26 years. She is the co-founder of SCENES as well as the Creative Actors’ Theatrical Studio (CATS). Her accomplishments are highlighted by the dozens of productions she has directed and the success of hundreds of young performers she has had the privilege of coaching. In addition to her productions with CATS, Yvonne has also directed shows for many local schools and churches.
Music Director: Marci Baker just completed her first year as the Stratford High School Choir Director after serving as the Assistant Choir Director for the previous 5 years. She has also served as the Assistant Director of the award winning Stratford Playhouse and will be Head Girls Counselor for the Baylor All-State Choir Camp this summer. A Stratford 2010 graduate, she attended Baylor University where she achieved a Bachelor's in Music Education and most recently received a Masters in Music Education from Florida State University.
Choreographer: Patricia Salvo is an international professional performer, teacher and choreographer. Her New York and Los Angeles training has led to many performances locally at Theater Under the Stars, Houston Grand Opera, and the Alley Theater, as well as nationally in performances with the Cleveland Opera and national tours. Patricia has also been extensively involved in choreographing shows for many local schools and churches.
Business Manager: Laura Spaulding has 20 years of experience in the education field as a teacher, administrator and educational consultant. She specializes in working with families of students with a variety of learning disabilities and learning differences, and previously served for 15 years as the Director of Admissions for The Joy School.
